Why is chiropractic care effective?
Chiropractic care is designed to keep your body connected to its inherent ability to self-heal. It’s a natural, non-invasive alternative that produces amazing results. The entire body communicates through your nervous system. The brain/body connection controls all of our physiological processes–immunity, sleep, digestion, pain, and more. To optimize well-being and development, it is important to keep the nervous system functioning at its best.
How old does my baby have to be to receive chiropractic care?
Many families choose to have their newborn checked within minutes or hours after birth. It is a gentle intervention, but can have powerful effects, such as readying the baby for all he/she/they will experience outside of the cozy confines of the womb.

Is it safe to get adjusted while pregnant?
Not only is chiropractic care completely safe during pregnancy, it’s highly encouraged. By helping moms adapt to the stresses of pregnancy, baby is better able to adapt too – giving him/her/they a head start before birth. Time and time again, expecting moms receiving chiropractic care experience more comfortable pregnancies, shorter and easier labor times, and more room for baby to move freely and grow naturally. Chiropractic care can also help with sciatica (low back or leg pain caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve) and round ligament pain (sharp pain often felt in the lower belly or groin area) as the body adapts to the various stages of pregnancy.
What is the Webster Technique and how will it benefit me throughout my pregnancy?
We’re happy to share more with you if you’d like, but here’s what you need to know: the Webster Technique is a specialized prenatal certification. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation (structural displacement). Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother and a correction may have a positive effect on the causes of difficult labor. The technique helps ensure the pelvis and surrounding structures are properly functioning and thus supporting the development and birthing process.
